What we do

We help you understand the process, so you walk in prepared.

Veteran Coach Corner is an education and coaching service — we help you learn how the VA benefits system works before you sit down with the person who will actually handle your claim.

Coaching sessions cover

  • How VA disability ratings and eligibility actually work
  • What kind of evidence VA looks for, in plain language
  • Making sense of decision letters and next steps
  • Questions worth asking before you sign with anyone

Who it's for

  • Veterans just starting to look into a claim
  • Anyone confused by a rating decision they've received
  • Veterans deciding who should represent their claim
  • Families helping a veteran navigate the process

Where accredited help comes in

Veteran Coach Corner is not a VA-accredited claims agent, attorney, or Veteran Service Officer. We don't prepare, submit, or represent anyone in a VA claim — federal law reserves that role for accredited representatives.

When you're ready to actually file, we'll help you get connected to one. Accredited help is free through service organizations such as the DAV, VFW, American Legion, or your parish veterans affairs office, and we're glad to point you toward the right one for your situation.
